LANE VIOLATIONS selected for DANCE ON SCREEN 2026
LANE VIOLATIONS has been selected for DANCE ON SCREEN 2026 in Zurich, continuing its festival journey and marking an important step in the film’s path.
Built as a wordless short, the film explores cyclical false starts through movement, repetition, and visual tension. It developed from a simple image: bodies trapped in a system that keeps resetting itself before anything can fully begin. From there, the work became a study of pressure, absurdity, rhythm, and the fragile line between discipline and collapse.
Rather than relying on dialogue, the film is carried through physical language, atmosphere, and the emotional architecture of the frame. Movement became both structure and narrative — the very logic through which the image was built.
The film will screen as part of SHORTS 1 – INNER STATES OF QUIET TURBULENCE on 9 April 2026 at 20:30 at Arthouse Piccadilly 1 in Zurich, followed by a moderated conversation.
Its selection for DANCE ON SCREEN 2026 marks an important step in the film’s journey, and in the development of NEONFROG as a director-led cinematic label built around original work, collaborations, and authored visual language.
More updates on screenings and the festival journey will follow soon.
